- Energy Management System selection, design, engineering, installation, and service
- BMI operates a field service department that can service building control systems throughout the 48 states, with a “dispatch to visit” time typically less than 48 hours.
- Our clients may need to install a control system in a facility in order to control and stabilize operating costs. BMI will handle the entire process and support the system for the long-term. The type or brand of the system will depend on the application, BMI holds no distribution or restricting agreement with any control manufacturers, which gives us tremendous flexibility.
- Total Facilities Maintenance Supervision
- Our Clients are committed to the long-term sustainability of their efficient buildings, whether owned or leased. BMI can manage and supervise the life-cycle of the building, from plumbing, to roof leaks, to HVAC, we provide a host of services to track and control life-cycle operating costs.
- North American 24/7 Monitoring
- Some of our clients need available HVAC and Controls technicians to assist with the world-wide maintenance operations of their buildings.
Our call center staff consists of technicians with backgrounds that lend assistance to all types of on-site maintenance vendors and construction personnel, which further reduces our clients maintenance costs and avoids unnecessary site visits.
In addition, the monitoring center receives alarms from various types of control systems, providing a proactive alert of situations before a building’s operations are disrupted. Many times our technicians are able to use remote communications on the buildings control system to manipulate the buildings malfunctioning equipment in a fashion that will sustain the operation until it is economical for a technician to visit and repair.
- Data Analysis/Reporting
- A great deal of data is generated during the operation of a Corporate Energy Management Program. BMI has partnered with companies that have an IT infrastructure focused on report generation, web hosting, and other data intensive services. This partnership gives BMI the ability to serve our clients with fewer total vendors, thus decreasing the managerial burden of our clients.
- Green Building Project Coordination
- As a member of the US Green Building Council, BMI has the resources at its disposal to create and manage both retrofit and new construction Green Building projects. In addition, LEED certification can be facilitated through BMI, which gives our clients a cheaper, faster alternative than using in-house staff to manage the process.
